Type 451.22

Type 451 is a Class 1 composite screened cable designed according to AS/NZS 2802 standards for general-purpose mining applications. Designed with ratings from 3.3/3.3 kV up to 33/33 kV, this cable is similar to Type 450 but features reduced pilot conductor size. It is suitable for slow reeling and trailing applications, commonly used with draglines, shovels, excavators, wharf cranes, and materials handling equipment. The cable provides excellent flexibility and durability with an extra heavy-duty XHD-85-PCP sheath reinforced by a Kevlar® polyaramid yarn braid for enhanced mechanical protection.
